Supplier’s clients such as Unibet and 888 to offer punters blow-by-blow markets on this weekend’s mega fight.

Premium Sportsbook supplier Kambi will be offering the most comprehensive betting coverage for this weekend’s high-profile fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, including a range of instant markets where bets will be settled every single minute of the contest.

The fight, which will take place in Las Vegas during the early hours of Sunday morning, is expected to break all boxing betting records and Kambi clients, including Unibet, 888sport and LeoVegas, already boast the most extensive range of pre-fight markets, with more than 100 different offers currently available.

Furthermore, on fight night Kambi will trade a wide variety of markets in-play, including a range of instant betting offers, which enable customers to place a bet and have it settled within a 60-second window.

Markets such as ‘Referee to break the fighters in the next minute - yes/no’ mean that, even when a punter’s pre-fight bet is on the ropes, they can remain engaged by placing a bet at any point during the contest.

Speaking to SBC Gaming, head of in-play at Kambi, Simon Noy, said instant betting had become one of the award-winning supplier’s fastest growing markets, particularly among high-value customers.

“Since first launching the offer for the 2014 football World Cup, instant betting has become one of our most popular markets, especially across football and tennis where we see high VIP engagement,” Simon Noy, Kambi head of in-play, said.

“Punters are increasingly seeking a more casino-style sports betting experience and, thanks to the excellence in Kambi’s supply chain, from data to tools, models, and traders, we are able to meet this demand through the offer of these rapid-fire markets,” he added.

Kambi first offered instant betting in boxing back in 2015 for Mayweather’s fight versus Manny Pacquiao, and has since extended the offer to include ‘Fight to end in next minute’.
